The physical took longer than I expected but there was never that big of a wait and the nurses, desk workers, physician and physical therapist were all very nice and helpful.
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The facility was clean, the staff was efficient and had a great attitude. I didn't have to wait very long at any point in my physical for the TSA. The doctor was also very personable and informative as we went through my questionnaire. It made the 100 miles I had to drive to the facility seem worth it. Please continue to keep the type of faculty that make positive experiences for the patients that may not have had good experiences in the past.
The nurses were friendly and knowledgeable. The new Doctor I had was rude and arrogant. He had zero people skills. Left feeling terrible and embarrassed. I will try to talk my company into using a different facility next time.
Been there a few times, everything is always so slow. Two out of the three times I have been there, I waited in the procedure room fir the doctor for over 30 minutes, just to have toe doctor perform the least professional physical examination I have seen. The last time I was there, he just asked me of I had a hernia, without checking at all.
Getting a DOT physical here is not a good idea. The doctor (Patricia I think) wanted to give me a sleep apnea test after asking me if I have any problems sleeping, I told her no, but she didn't believe me apparently and wanted to go further. She gave me a questionare to fill out and left it at that. Then I have a hearing exemption from the FMCSA she didn't believe me, said she had to contact some of here "connections" in DOT. Only to find it was true. So she had the impression because she never heard of such thing that it wasent true. Then only gave me a one year card... I'm guessing because I told her the truth and she didn't believe me ? I don't know but I've been to two other concentra in other states and the DOT physical is always a joke because if there's a way they can make more money off of you they will try. It's like common sense is a lack with this doc, because if you can move and climb etc and you have no health issues, why do they interrogate you in a sense to get you to crack and make something up? It just seems odd. I don't usually write things like this, but these places are terrible for trying to over step there boundaries.
