Bought a new HP All in 1 Labor Day weekend. I have had bad experiences with Best buy Geeks. So I was recommended to go to Office Max in Moline by a friend. Bought the 2 year extended warranty. Less than 2 weeks the new HP All in 1 quit working. A assistant manager told me when I brought it back that I would have to call HP. They would send me a box to send it in. After I got a little loud. The store tried to fix it. WORSE EXPERIENCE THAN THE GEEKS AT BEST BUY. They said it was repaired.I took it home,plugged it in and got a blank screen. Took it back and then was told they would get me a new 1. Well finally 5 days later I got 1 that works. I Am 71 years old and have been using my Samsung S6 as my computer untill I finally got the 1 that works. Not easy for me to do so. I don't have much respect for the man that (assistant manager) that gave me his line of BULL. That they do much better than the Geeks at BEST BUY. But they do have a Very nice Sr. Sales Consultant that did try to help with the problem. I don't like to add names of people in a case like this. But if The Moline Office Max wants to respond to this complaint they can do so. Just don't call me. I wouldn't buy another computer or any electronics from this store again. If I have trouble with this New HP. All in 1 it will just go in the trash can. I will have a computer company on 53rd Street in Iowa build me a new one. As it seems there are no big box stores here in the Quad Cities that cannot tell the truth when consumers try to put there faith in any of the Managers at the stores here.or The so called Geeks at BEST BUY. Not only me but many friend's Have taken computers in for repair and got the computers back in worse shape than when we took them in. It looks like Office Max is no better. PRETTY DARN SAD THAT NO ONE CAN BE TRUSTED ANY LONGER. TO DO A JOB AND NOT GIVE YOU A LINE OF BULL WHEN BUYING MANY PRODUCTS OR HAVE SERVICE WORK DONE. Office Max gave me a $10.00 gift card for the trouble. That has gone in my paper shredder...........
Nice convenient store with good service and copy machines. A little pricey, but great items usually on sale.. No waiting at check-out.
A good store for what it offers! We get good deals here during back to school time! Staff is friendly and helpful! The store is a little run downed and could use a major renovation along with the bathrooms! But do like the store cuz the other one is across the river and too far away!!!
