My 74 year old father went in for a routine colonoscopy the beginning of this month. He is a larger fellow, and as such, needed extra anesthesia (or the equivalent that was given.) During the beginning of the procedure, when he stated he could feel pain with every movement, he was told that the woman present "wasn't the anthesiologist" and couldn't do anything for his pain.
